What is EFT?

EFT therapy is a simple yet powerful way to overcome negative emotions that are creating obstacles for you and give you emotional freedom, peace and balance. EFT is used by people from all walks of life, all over the world. Virtually anyone can learn and use this technique to assist with the healing and relief of a variety of issues affecting mind and body, allowing you to restore your body-mind system back into a state of balance and harmony which is our natural state of well being.

What does EFT involve?

EFT is a non-invasive, gentle treatment, and can be described as “acupuncture without needles”, as it involves you tapping on acupressure points on the body, while recalling and speaking about the emotional aspect of any negative behaviour, feeling or habit that you wish to change.

It is a very safe and gentle tapping procedure using just your fingertips to tap directly on points on your hands and face.

How does EFT work?

EFT works with your bodies subtle energy. This energy can be referred to as “chi”, which flows through your body along pathways called meridians.

Meridians were mapped out on human and animal bodies thousands of years ago by Chinese physicians. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, disruptions of chi/energy can create negative emotions and behaviour patterns such as:

Your EFT therapy sessions

First steps

Your first step begins with arranging your free no obligation telephone consultation. Here we discuss the treatment in more depth and the issues that you would like to use EFT to overcome.

The EFT session

EFT sessions are relaxed and involve talking to explore and identify the key elements that are most affecting you. I then demonstrate the basic EFT tapping process which is very easy: this involves you tapping on specific meridian points on your face chest and hands in a particular sequence whilst recalling or speaking about your issue and the feelings connected to the issue. We repeat the tapping sequence throughout the session to create immediate relief.

How many sessions will I need?

As EFT can provide relatively quick relief 2- 3 sessions are the average requirement for treating a range of issues.

This is simply a guide and the amount of sessions needed will vary depending upon each individual.

EFT session fees

All EFT therapy sessions are with Rachel Burke BA (Hons) SQHP GHR Advanced EFT Practitioner.

Each session lasts for 1 hour and costs £95.

Consultations are free and usually last 25 minutes.
